Fring For Nokia N900-Fring Support Added To Nokia N900

Fring has extended their service to the latest Maemo 5 operating system and enables us to use fring on the Nokia N900. The fring application is available on the Maemo Developer Testing Applications catalog, I have downloaded on to my Nokia N900.
The fring™ mobile VoIP solution maximizes use of the internet capabilities embedded within a subscriber’s handset. The fring solution establishes a peer-to-peer VoIP connection between calling parties, enabling true VoIP sessions between fring enabled handsets and also between handsets and PCs.
fring is based on a unique thin-client technology that for the first time enables true VoIP over 3G, GPRS and WiFi networks. fring dynamically adapts itself to the optimal network and handset characteristics while enabling seamless roaming VoIP on multiple networks. The dedicated three-sided P2P network architecture has been developed to support near telco-grade voice quality and network efficiency.

after adding the new catalogs just install it from your application manager->download.
Thanks for the reply. I add the new catalogs but whech going to download nothing is there
in application manager you can found search tool and use it and search for fring.

I have installed fring on my nokia N900, but its not been able to connect. When i put my login and password, it keeps on connecting for eternity and nothing happens. Please help in this. Thanks in advance.

all of the three? i mean which catalog should i add before i install fring to my n900?
add all the catalogs so that you can add more applications to your N900.
