Nokia Gives Free Worldwide Walk & Drive Navigation On Smartphones

Today, Nokia has announced that they plan to give high-end walk and drive navigation for free with a new version Ovi Maps for the Nokia smart-phones, this is a premium content till now, from now onwards we can use it on our Nokia smart-phones for free, yes absolutely for free. The new version of Ovi Maps includes high-end car and pedestrian navigation features, such as turn-by-turn voice guidance for 74 countries, in 46languages, and traffic information for more than 10 countries, as well as detailed maps for more than 180 countries. This Ovi maps is available from now onwards at www.nokia.com/maps for the following models
• Nokia N97 Mini
• Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
• Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition
• Nokia 5230
• Nokia X6
• Nokia E52
• Nokia E55
• Nokia E72
• Nokia 6710 Navigator
• Nokia 6730 classic
Nokia smartphones releasing after March 2010 with built in GPS will come with the latest version Ovi Maps too.

It’s a shame that Nokia forgets the S60 V3, like N95 8GB, in this realese. I hope they re-think and give us the same options like they do to S60 V5 users.
