How To Remote Lock Your Nokia Mobile

Have ever think of it? Is it possible to lock our mobile remotely? Can we lock our mobile from a remote place? ….?????
Hello! Do you have an answer for the above questions? Again question. If you have no, then after reading this post you can be able to answer all those questions. Not only answering the questions but also you can do it on your mobile.
I found an interesting thing on my Nokia 5800, it has an option to Remote lock our mobile. By using this option we can remote lock our mobile and there by we can prevent unauthorized usage of our mobile.
To remote lock your mobile just go to Settings and after that go to security settings and after that go to Phone and Sim and find the option called “Remote Phone Locking”. Here you need to type a message or any string (remember it) “Lock It”, take care, it is case sensitive and takes the spaces too. Use the security code (default 12345) while configuring. Just save it and enable “Remote Phone Locking”.
Now you can remote lock your mobile by just sending a message with the message as the message (string) which we have used it in configuring the Remote Phone Locking. On the receipt of the message your phone will be locked and resist to open anything and asks for the lock code. Once you enter the correct code it will be unlocked.
Tested with my Nokia 5800.

after enabling successfully just send a sms from another mobile with the locking text.

just send a message with the phrase or keyword used in configuring the remote lock from another mobile and watch your mobile locking.
