FingerPrint scanner is an application developed by Thinkchange to lock and unlock Nokia 5800 and Nokia N97 with a fingerprint. This application uses your fingerprint as your identity to ensure the authority of use.
In fact this application does not work on the fingerprint but it counts the number of times the screen has been touched, depending on the count predefined by the authorized user it unlocks. Suppose if I put the count to 3 and with my fingerprint as the authority, it won’t unlock if I touch the phone for 1 to 2 times. If I touch the screen for 3 times consecutively them it unlocks.
So it doesn’t work on the fingerprint. It’s just a simulation.
How it works:-
When the FingerPrint screen pops up, you need to touch your finger to the screen to be “scanned” for your identity, there will be vibration and beep sounds during the scan. The phone will be unlocked not depend on whose finger it is, but on how many beeps or vibrations since your finger touch the screen.
