How To Get OPDA Certificate And Key Files With The New System

Update 12-08-2011: – Opda stopped developing and giving certificates and keys world widely, so the following procedure may not work. For more information read this post.

Hello everyone, I have posted a post on How to get your OPDA certificate on my blog earlier and it worked well till now but OPDA has changed their system that’s why my previous post is not working for few people. Anyway here I am again to explain you each and every step in applying and getting your certificate and key file with simple steps.

Note:- The following procedure tells you how to apply for the OPDA certificate and key and we are not providing any service to apply for your certificate and key. So don’t post a comment requesting us to apply for your certificate.

Procedure:-

Click on the image to zoom in if it is not clear.

Step 1:- go to http://www.shoujizu.net/en/

it looks like

click on Register at top right to register.

Step 2:- A registration form will open as shown bellow

Fill in the particulars as indicated above.

Step 3:- After the registration, wait for few moments, login form appears, you need to login again as shown bellow.

Login again.

Step 4:- Here you need to apply for the certificate and key file, see the screenshot bellow

click on the Apply cer button as shown above.

Step 5:- Fill the form carefully as shown bellow

In the phone numer field fill it with 13 or 15 or 18 followed by any 9 digits.

Step 6:- Wait for sometime (Waiting time depends on the nuber fo certificate requests they have , it may varry). Check for the certificate and key file with this link MY CERTIFICATE AND KEY.

If they have developed your certificate and key files you can get them from the above link as shown bellow

Download the certificate and key files and sign your unsigned application on your PC or on your mobile. You can get a signer from there too.

Update: - Sabeer Suggested us as follows to avoid donating to the opda site.

Hi to everyone
if u want to get the certificate and key from this website without paying change the language to Chinese in that website and then login and download it will be downloaded with out going to donate page.

Update 6-08-2011: -

I have noticed some of the people are not getting their certificates and key files from OPDA site, and to find a solution I have searched OPDA site and got a solution. The solution is that

If you have applied for the certificate before 18th July 2011, then you need to delete your request to produce the certificate and key on the opda site and you need to reapply for the certificate and key. After reapplying you need to wait for 3 to 5 days to download your certificate and key.

This is due to that opda servers has been hacked and they are working on that resolve. I hope and wish them resolve it soon.

    HEy..SOny..I Got the cer and kEy file from the website..(thanks to you). I used the signer provided by u but still my N97 says expired certificate no matter to whateva date I change…

    Then again i used another sighter sigsis.exe and I signed the file using a PC…But still the same Problem…|Expired Certificate??

    Is there anything I CAn do??? the softwares I tried to install was ACtive file…core codec player….Hellox…( i got these from the OPDA website and as well Tried downloading and signig from other sites but the same Problem…)

      just use our site search engine and search for “free Signer” and download it and transfer it to your mobile and the certificate and key file too. Then sign any unsigned applications on your mobile.

    yes i tried that only… but still cant, wen ever i try to install hallo ox in ma mob.. it gives this msg (application is for development use only. continuing instalation may cause serious problems to your phone) and if i say yes, it gives me this msg (cancel installation constrained by the certificate) i even tried online signing from OPDA Site and install but still cant.. am using nokia 5800XP with V.30.0.011

      It is not the problem with the certificate and it is the problem with the application. It should have some another supporting file or application. So first install the supporting file. I am sure your problem will be resolved. If you haven’t downloaded the supporting application first download it and the procedure. Good luck.

    Hi guys, thanks for the great tutorial. I’ve gotten a certificate from the ‘old system’ some time ago, worked like a charm. Now I’m trying to get another one, but the OPDA site shows no ‘phone number’ field, just ‘model’, ‘IMEI’, ‘ confirm IMEI’ and ‘remarks’.

    I’ve tried both IE and Firefox.

    The certificate I’ve made without filling in the ‘phone number’ field doesn’t work (‘constrained certificate’ error while installing apps.)

    Weird, right? Did our Chinese friends change their website or is something else going on?

      this is not the problem with the OPDA certificate it may be a problem with the memory or you may install incompatible application, so once format your mobile, formatting your mobile erase your phone memory so take a backup and format it, use *#7370# to format.

      I also faced the same problem but most of the application have no certificate error after resigning. If resigning won’t work then follow manual installation with the original file.

      you need to enter your IMEI number only in the IMEI number field and confirm IMEI field.

      13+9 other numbers in the phone number field.

          IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. You can find it on your mobile just by *#06# on your dial pad.

    pls help. Just one month back i downloaded my .cer and .key it work perfect, by mistakely i deleted all, again i applied for certificate, in last colom it showed SIGNING, .CER .KEY. Delete. I just downloaded both but it not work, first when i downloaded at that time it showed .cer.opda.cn…. And .key.opda.cn while downloading, nw it show cer.opda.cn for both, ok when i go to free signer application setting to install self certifacte, it show no data available , hence i have have kept in folder and i changed in to many folder to upload my certificate to free signer, but it display empty folder data not available, please help what to do ? First it was ok, but by mistake i deleted everything, again it is imposible to me to recover my certificate, i had applied again but no use, same problem.

      downloading doesn’t give certificate error, it is the error on only installing. Have you signed the HelloOX with your certificate? If not sign it and then try installing. To sign your Helloox you need Free Signer or PC signer.

    I used the procedure and from what I can see, for my N8-00 I was issued both a key and cert file. Unfortunately, although the cert file seems OK, both the key and cert file names (and contents) are identical. From what I can determine, I have been only given the CERT file and not the key file. How do I contact the site, respectfully point out the apparent error and hopefully get it corrected?

      first of all congratulations, in order to use it you need to have signer so download it first. Search on this site to locate free signer.

      I used the above procedure long back, so I have no idea about donating, so I suggest you to wait for the 3 to 5 days and in between check the site for your certificate and key.

      Sabeer suggested us ad “if u want to get the certificate and key from this website without paying change the language to Chinese in that website and then login and download it will be downloaded with out going to donate page.” and i successfully downloaded the certificate and key files.

      It depeds on the volume of certificate requests and may take 3 to 5 days. Follow the Sabeer procedure to download the certificate and key.

            Shreya, I have tried with your user name and pass and haven’t found your certificate and key there.

            Do one thing, on the site http://www.shoujizu.net/en/ there is an official forum, so write your problem along with your user name and the IMEI associated with your user name on the site. We can expert the reasons of the problem and so that we can do something.

            I have sent you a facebook friend request and one more thing is that please change your password on the opda site.

    i can’t click Apply Certificate.

    when i click ‘Apply Certificate’, it’s back to login again, and when i login, and then back to login again,

    when i trying to login again for second times, i back to login again.

    very annoying.

    sony hi, after i got my cert n key then where should i keep it? in phone’s memory or memory card? then how to unsigned the apps with the cert n key? *sry i dont know anything bout this things T_T

      keep a copy of them on your mobile, PC and also keep a backup online by attaching them to mail. After that you can sign unsigned applications, on your mobile and PC too, and install them on your mobile. To sign unsigned applications use PC signer or mobile Signer. Just search for PC signer and mobile Signer on mynokiamobile.org and follow the procedures there.

        type in *#7370# then it will ask you to provide your security code then just put your security code. Default security code is 12345. Flashing your mobile formats your mobile, so keep a backup of your valuable data before flashing.
