How To Get Our Own OPDA Developer Certificate And Key

In this post i would like to tell you how to get an OPDA developer certificate for our symbian mobile from opda. First let me tell you how it can be useful to us? This OPDA certificate and key file lets us to sign unsigned applications.
Okay! Coming to the procedure, opda is a Chinese site, that’s why most of the people feel difficult to get a certificate from there. I am going to give you step by step procedure to how to register and how to apply for the certificate and key with screenshots. If the image view is not clear then click on the image to zoom.
Step 1:- Register an account at OPDA from here.
An agreement forum will open in china, just scroll down and just click on the left button as shown in the following screen shot bellow.
Step 2:- Here the actual registration from will appear as shown in the screenshot bellow.
Fill it as in the screenshot bellow.
Step 3:- After the registration we need to apply for our certificate and key, apply from here.
Apply for them as shown in the screenshot bellow.
Step 4:- After few hours, check here for your certificate and key file.
If nothing appears, it means it is in progress.
They took 2 days for my certificate and key files.
Download them and sign the unsigned files with your own.
To sign the applications we need a signer, you can get it form here.
You can use any key in the key filed of SIGNSIS- GUI.
If you encounter any problem, just have a look at the comments bellow. You may get some information to solve your problem right now.

Aly after that step wait for 2 days and then go to the address in step 4. You can get your certificate and key files, c screenshot 4.

Kzmoks, it seems to be you are not loged in, so login first and then follow from step 3. In step 3 after clicking on “here”, you need to enter your IMEI no in the first box and then enter 13 followed by any (preferably last ) 9 digits of your mobile number. After that follow step 4.

Please help me anybody! After doing everything, as soon as I want to enter my IMEI and 11 numbers, it returns an error message – Duplicate IMEI detected. I didn’t enter yet the IMEI, maybe somebody had stolen my IMEI. I can’t do anything, please help me, where to get certificate, or how to make them give me another one!

Just go to http://www.opda.net.cn/register.php
There click on “English”, a page will open.
Then observe at the top left, two boxes can be seen. First one is for user name and the second for password.
After loging in don’t close the page, keeping it alive just go to the my certificate page.

I am in the process of getting my cert I am a blind computer user how eexactly will I download it when the to links appear?
Hay that’s not a big deal my buddy, just click on them to download.
Now to obtain an OPDA certificate it takes more than 24 hours. I’ve been waiting since yesterday and i still couldn’t download the cert or the key. Seem like there are lot of members registered and to process all of this IMEI’s it takes much more time. I had two accounts but one ran out of OPA’s. There i could download 4 certs and 4 key files and after that it’s not possible to download even a single cert or key file due to lack of OPA points. What shall i do regarding this issue? Does anybody know how to increase our OPA points without posting anything in that site??
What is it all about that thunder application which they provide us free of charge to download certs?? Have you got any idea about it?? Is there an any other site where we can get this crucial certificate files??

It depends on the no of cert requests but i can say it is worth waiting.

it’s normal, the processing depends on the no.of certificate requests. So wait.

I have heard that the opda sight cert numbers that have been generated are about 7000 in one night, so we are now down to 10000 certs left so just keeping waitng I hope mine comes soon

Hi Rohit, download the signer application provided in the post, install it on your pc, use unsigned application which you wants to sign, the certificate and key files to sign it. After signing it just transfer the signed file to your mobile using data cable or bluetooth and install from there.

I have a problem, I have generated my certificate at opda.net.cn, have downloaded my cert but I am unable to download my key… There is no link for my key. How can I get the key as well. Can I request the pair(cert+key) one more time for the same IMEI?

Hey Sony, do just gor my certificate and reg key today. Do I istall it onto my pc or transfer it onto my phone and open them there?
The reg key says something about adding on to my computers registry, will it harm my computer?
Hello, New Nokia Owner. Just save them on your PC and you can also transfer them on to your mobile too.
Basically these files are required to sign any unsigned applications, it can be done on our PC as well as mobile (using mobi signer). To sign we need the unsigned source file and these certificate and key files.

Hey guyz. I have registered for certificate two days back and i am geting something similar to the 4th picture. Since the chinese font is not installed, i cant verify anything. (All are boxes or some strange symbols). What is the format of certificate file and the size? I am geting links to exe files of 5+MB. Any help….?

Hello Matanglawin, the key and certificates are allowed to download for a period of time, i have downloaded my files after some days i am also unable to download the files.
tnx for the reply sony.. I learned that each time downloads cer and key gathers 1 OP coin your OP coin to be insufficient separately maybe thats why i cant download anymore form the site…my question is how can i get an OP coin to the site?

Hello i have a nokia 5800 i had got the certificate & key file for my phone in feburary,i had registered at that time but now i lost my certificate & key file due to formatting of microSD card.i now dont rember my old login id or password.now when i try to register it does not create my account,i tried entering another username & email id but still doest get registered. i dobnt know what to do! is it possible for me to request for the certifate of same IMEI? Hi Giwin Mathew, they only allow us to download the cer and key files for a period of time and we can’t request for the same IMEI no.

Giwin Mathew, We can get a certificate from the people having a publisher ID at symbiansigned.com. Generally these people are the developers.
We can hack our mobile to install unsigned applications. No damage will occur, if you format or update your mobile then the hack wont work and you need to do it again but there so no guaranty to work(hacking) after the frimware update .

Hi, i have applied for opda certificate and it had been processed. i am unable to download it. it is asking for a thunder client to be installed after clicking on the cer or key links. i got it installed it but i was unable to download it please help me. thanks in advance, srikanth.
Hi Srikanth, are you sure that your cer and key are developed?
Have you downloaded ever before. And one more thing is that We don’t need to install any applications on our PC. Explain your problem in detail.
Sony thanks alot !!!!!!!!! Anyways i got a certificate & key much faster than OPDA from another website. i got the certificate within 1hour of registeration. wow the site is cool & process is much easier.
hi soni, i am certainly sure that my cer and key had been generated. this is my first download. the links for cer and key are very much appearing in the download section in red colour. when i clicked on key it redirected me to install the thunder client whose name is “webxl_32784.exe” got installed. after opening the thunder client a window appeared in chinese asking for the save location. here clicking on the OK button located at the bottom i got the cer and key files now. just now my problem is solved after long try. thanks for this wonderful resource. I am using I.E 8 and this is the procedure which i followed. further any one who had used thunder may please explain clearly as i am not very good at explaining. i have followed the following link for help on thunder.

Hi Sri, by this time i have understood your problem. And we don’t need to install the thunder client, if the certificate and key files are visible to you then it indicates that the cer and key files has been developed for you, so just click on them to get them. No problem with the browser.

I was downloading the files but only got the Cert file. It would not download the Key file. It said: execeeded something. tried using the cert file but I receive an error when installing the software. I am using Ffree Signer installed on my phone. Any help?

This is sriram. I have registered and logged in to OPDA site. But when I apply for the certificate, I filled-in the 15-digit IMEI number, mobile model and my phone number as well. But when I submit my application I am getting a message “THE PHONE NUMBER IS WRONG. Please help me cause right now I am on the system. Please do the needful and an early reply will be appreciated

Just follow the instructions and that’s it…
Register to opda and apply cert &key. Then download. If you have problem to sign hellox, upload it to the server, then download signed hellox. And hack your cell.

download PC signer and resign this mobile signer with your OPDA certificate and install it on your mobile. PC signer also provided on our site.

everybody saying how 2 get ur opda and were 2 get. but nobody saying how 2 install 2 ur device.i got my cer. & key. iam tring 2 install threw mobile application. its not responding. normally it say either cer.erore or not compitable with device.here nothing.trying 2 install helloox its 3rd stage running without an end.enybody explain and help me in a single step.
What is your problem? Signing applications? If so we have already posted it. Just use our search button to get it.

guys you can still download it. All you have to do is to use ucweb or opera mobile on your fone… the windows browser will always say error.
